Today is a dark day.

How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer.

According to Pro Football Talk Jay Glazer interviewed Sean Payton immediately after the news broke.
“I did talk to him and he’s stunned to say the least,” Glazer said. “I think the entire team thought maybe there’d be a four-game suspension, but not a year. I said, ‘Are you OK?’ And he said, ‘No, I’m not OK.’ He is stunned. He’s going to lose about $8 million. He is beside himself here.”
In a way, I don’t think it’s fair that he gets suspended for a full year, but his assistant head coach only got suspended for the first 6 games in the regular season. I mean, I knew that his punishment was going to be severe, but I didn’t think it was going to be as extreme as this. So yes, I can understand why he’s stunned because I am too…

Drew Brees vs. Aaron Rodgers
It’s the golden question of the week.
Or maybe the year.
Who’s better: Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees? Both are Super Bowl champions. Both are on pace to break several passing records. So how exactly do you decide who’s the better quarterback? It’s simple really.
What can the team do without them?
Is it really them who look good, or do their receivers make them look good? Don’t get me wrong, I think both are absolutely AMAZING QBs. But you have to look at who surrounds them. Take Peyton Manning for example (and I’m not saying this because I’m a Colts fan.) Him and Brady have been neck to neck for most of their careers, and this question always arises when they go head to head against each other. People think it’s a hard question, but it’s really not.
Tom Brady got injured. The Patriots still made it to the playoffs.
Peyton Manning is injured. The Colts are on their way to a winless season.
Tom Brady lost Wes Welker in the 2009 playoffs against the Ravens. They got their butts kicked.
See my point? Anyway, with this said, I think I’d pick Drew Brees as the better QB.
For now.
Aaron Rodgers has sooooo many weapons. I lose track of how many different WRs he throws to in a game. That’s the only thing keeping me from giving Rodgers the win. Overtime, things change. So I guess we’ll see how things go over time then.

Oh my…
wow, it’s been so long but I’m still being shown love and support.
Sorry I’ve been away for so long, with school and work I barely have time to manage this account…or even my personal. Anyway, since I finally have a day off, I will treat you to a Drew Brees & New Orleans Saints spam. From pictures, to draft picks, trades, free agents, and everything else.
Gonna start doing research now. Hopefully it’ll make up for my lack of posts lately. See you all tomorrow :)

A tough loss.
It was a great game, but a tough loss against the 49s. Both teams played their hearts out. Congrats to the 49s for making it this far. This is a big thing for them since they haven’t made it this far since ‘95. Even though we lost, I’m glad it was to a good team like them & the game was as great as it was :)
